We will go over my impressions of the book, what you can expect, and I’ll ask you some questions to get your thoughts on the book if you’ve read it as well in this video.

Supernatural Confidence starts out exactly as I expected it to in an unapologetic news flash sort of way. If you didn’t know Jamar’s ideology the preface punches you square in the face with it lol and I loved every moment of it. From calling out modern society to cancel culture.

I also enjoyed the authors writing style. He elegantly weaved in personal stories along with lessons and consistently drove home the point of the book throughout. You get a real sense of his passion and growth through the stories and lessons he puts into Supernatural Confidence.

One of my favorites being when he spoke about one of his first times approaching a girl in high school and getting her number. I felt like I was there and fortunately for me, this is an author from my hometown so I vividly remembered the hallways and the classrooms.

It took me back to my first time trying to get a girl’s number and how nervous I was during that process and I couldn’t help but laugh because of how much I could relate to this story. Also, Make sure to Comment on your favorite personal story below and why it stood out to you.

Another thing I enjoyed was the author constantly challenges you in the book to dig deeper within yourself. One thing he challenges you to say is “I’m the most confident person in the world” after you’ve said it he asks you a series of questions about how do you feel saying that statement.

I’d challenge you to do that as well. This will give you a small taste of what’s in store if you haven’t already picked up this book. It also made me really evaluate my own personal experiences of the past and why I’m overly humble in situations when it’s not necessary.  I realized that it stems from my early school days and trying my hardest to kill the preconceived notion people had about me.  They automatically assumed that I’m light skin and I dressed well so I must be arrogant and cocky. I remember constantly trying to lower myself or minimize my accomplishments to make others comfortable around me all the way into my early 20s. So this part of the book definitely stood out to me.

He also conveys his ideology flawlessly in a way you can easily digest and understand.  It’s focused on not being a victim to your circumstances and unlocking your own supernatural confidence. Which he walks you through exactly how to do that through his real-life scenarios and through explanations. He always explains the benefits of doing it. Also, Jamar walks you through the battle you face within and explaining the many relationship dynamics and the fantasy people have of you in their heads. The pitfalls to avoid, killing off your old self that you are in a battle with and so much more.

I’m not even doing it justice in this review because the topics are vast and detailed. But what I’ll say is if you read Supernatural Confidence what were your biggest takeaways? What stood out to you?
